Born and raised in Italy, Maurizio Paura discovered his love for music at a young age. After an in-depth musical education at a leading conservatory in Italy and the Berklee College of Music in Boston, he began to build his resume performing throughout Europe, the United States and Latin America.
Traveling the world, Paura incorporates these unique cultural experiences into his own musical compositions and his diverse musical repertoire. He takes a holistic approach to composition and music as a whole, integrating comprehensive and complex historical, cultural and emotional experiences into his work.
Paura imbues his work with a love for music and history, coupled with a passion for global musical knowledge which he conveys to his audience as a musician, composer and performer.
